Rent to Own - Credit Repair is critical for your buyers

I am getting really excited about this free webinar tomorrow night. If you are a rent to own or lease option investor, real estate agent or home seller this is important for you. If you want your buyers to close on the home you need to have them improve their credit. If you leave it up to them they almost never get around to it. You will need to help them along to get their credit in shape so they can qualify for a mortgage and purchase your rent to own home.
Not only will we look at whether credit repair companies work or if they are just a scam. We will also take a look at how credit scores are generated, what factors affect them and some common misconceptions about things you can or cannot do to improve your credit. You will be surprised by some of the information. There are a lot of myths out there about rebuilding credit and some of those myths can acutally hurt your credit not help them.

Get your rent to own tenant-buyers to closing - Credit Repair webinar

When you are selling a home as a rent to own or lease option, whether you are a home seller, a real estate agent, or a real estate investor, you must get your tenant-buyer to close on the home to complete the sale. Most tenant-buyers these days need to improve their credit to qualify for a mortgage. It’s a lot harder to get loans now than it used to be. Some rent to own buyers have been through foreclosure or bankruptcy, others lost their jobs before coming to you, sometimes they just had too much debt and needed to pay off some bills. Whatever the reason almost all tenant-buyers need to improve their credit before they can complete the purchase of a rent to own home.
The rental period during the rent to own gives the tenant-buyer time to improve their credit and qualify for a mortgage. The question is should they work at it themselves or should they sign up with a credit repair company? Credit repair companies have been making some news lately, although not all of it is good. Because improving credit is so important for rent to own buyers so they can qualify for a mortgage, I have decided to host a webinar that takes a look at credit repair. Lease Options work - she has sold over 70 homes in this year

I love this video! Missy has sold over 70 homes in the worst real estate market in the country just by being creative.
She sells homes conventionally and by using lease options or rent to owns. Selling 70 homes in one year is great even in an up market but she has done it in a lousy market. Missy shares her tips on how she gets homes sold. If you are a real estate agent and you are making all of the commissions you need then don’t watch this. But if you would like to increase your commissions take 1 minute of your time and watch this video. Remember that’s 70 commissions in one year!
You need to adapt to survive in this market and lease options work.

Wendy Pattons Lease Option Student Russ Week 4


My Lease Option student / Rent to Own student Russ has sent another update. He has read my book, Investing in Real Estate with Lease Options and Subject-to Deals, and my course, Wendy Patton’s Real Estate Wealth Building Arsenal. These are the guides to success investing in lease options.


He has been following the training step by step and is doing a great job. After only 3 weeks with my course now he already has met 3 homeowners who are willing to consider selling their home as a lease option to Russ as an investor. Just 3 weeks and he is already putting together offers to these sellers.


If Russ can do this so can you. All it takes is showing the initiative. Russ is making the effort, only about 10 to 15 hours per week is needed, and he is getting results. I’m particularly proud of my lease option student Russ because he is showing the world the steps he’s taking and the progress he is making. I look forward to sharing more updates from Russ in the coming weeks as he shares his progress.


Taking action is the key to success, whether you are a lease option investor, any other kind of real estate investor, a real estate agent or anything else. Just take those first steps to get started and then keep at it.

How I got my Wendy Patton website on the front page of Google - without paying Google!

The internet is one of our biggest resources. I have more than doubled traffic to my Wendy Patton website recently and am now on the front page of Google for 7 different searches! I am truly amazed at the results I’ve been getting. Search Engine Optimization - or SEO - is a must know if you have a website or want to use a website to build up your business. It can be one of the best ways to draw in clients there is. And the best part is you don’t have to pay for the advertising! If you are a real estate investor or a real estate agent this is must know information for building your business.

I can’t take credit for it though. I’ve gotten help. I’ve been working with an SEO expert.

Welcome to Wendy Patton's Office

As you probably know I train real estate agents, real estate investors, home sellers and home buyers in lease options, a.k.a. rent to owns. I also actively do lease options myself. Creative Lease Option or Rent to Own deals - Look for Builders in Distress

Looking for a new way to find a lease option or rent to own home? Either as a real estate investor or a home buyer a great solution for you can be to look at builders with excess inventory. A lot of builders overbuilt and are now stuck with homes they are desperate to sell. They could be a perfect candidate for a lease option home or rent to own home. This creates prime opportunities for home buyers or real estate investors. There are lots of builders out there, especially ones that build on a smaller scale, that would be willing to consider creative selling techniques like a lease with option to buy or rent with option to buy. These are great lease option investment opportunities. New construction homes are very low maintenance, which means less headaches for you. Buyers love new homes. If you are looking for a lease option investment you'll find it easier to find tenant-buyers to fill the home. My Lease Option student / Rent to Own student Russ in Boston update for week 2. In this video Russ has had my lease option investing course for 1 week and shares what he has accomplished. Russ isn't letting the grass grow under his feet. Everything he is doing can easily be accomplished by anyone.
